Handsome Louie was surrendered to us because he doesn't get along well with small children. He loves adults though, and he is a great snuggler! Aside from his obvious adorableness, he is already housetrained and walks good on a leash. When Louie is frightened, he may pee, growl or snap. Being the typical Jack Russell, he will jump up until he gets loose from his harness, so he is an escape artist! He needs a patient owner who is willing to work with him through his fear issues. The ideal forever home for Louie would be a home where he is the only dog and there are no children around to frighten him. We don't know how Louie would react to cats as he's never been exposed to them. He has had some problems in the past with allergies to fleas, so he will need to definitely stay on flea/tick preventatives every month.
