Frieda came to us from a local shelter scared and carrying a huge hernia. The vet commented that it was one of the largest hernias she had fixed, but we know she feels so much better now. She has had plenty of time to heal and is ready for her new home, but she is still shy with people. Not aggressive at all, but quick to run. She enjoys laying on the bed, dancing for her food, digging out a spot on the couch, but she still isn't sure about pets or being closer than a few feet of her foster mom. She loves other dogs and cats, enjoys playing and seems to do well with a doggy door and fenced yard. Her foster mom has managed some pets when she lays down near her and she doesn't run away, so she still has lots of room for progress. We think she would make someone a lovely companion. Especially if your dog needs a companion or support, Frieda is the dog for them. More about FriedaGood with Dogs, Good with Cats
